A major solo exhibition of works by Prof. Sukhvir Sanghal was held at the State Lalit Kala Akademi, Uttar Pradesh, from 16–22 May 1972. The seven-day exhibition was inaugurated by Dr. Gopal Tripathi, then Vice-Chancellor of Lucknow University, and featured approximately 95 paintings and artistic works by the artist. The exhibition provided an important platform for showcasing Sanghal's distinctive artistic vision and his contributions to modern Indian art.
